De acuerdo con&nbsp;<em>Xeneta<\/em>, al 30 de abril de 2026 las tarifas&nbsp;<em>spot&nbsp;<\/em>en las rutas desde Asia a Estados Unidos se mantienen elevadas: US$2.864\/FEU a la Costa Oeste (USWC) y US$3.873\/FEU hacia la Costa Este (USEC), aun significativamente por encima de los niveles previos a la crisis del Golfo P\u00e9rsico. En contraste, la ruta hacia Europa muestra una mayor correcci\u00f3n, con ca\u00eddas mensuales de 10% hacia el norte del continente (US$2.528\/FEU) y de 15% hacia el Mediterr\u00e1neo (USE3.567\/FEU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"798\" height=\"598\" src=\"https:\/\/jpevlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/alza-combustible.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jpevlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/alza-combustible.jpeg 798w, https:\/\/jpevlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/alza-combustible-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/jpevlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/alza-combustible-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/jpevlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/alza-combustible-16x12.jpeg 16w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan&nbsp;<em>Peter Sand<\/em>, analista jefe de&nbsp;<em>Xeneta<\/em>, \u201clas cadenas log\u00edsticas que las navieras han construido en torno a la disrupci\u00f3n en Medio Oriente [\u2026] est\u00e1n funcionando con suficiente regularidad como para que las tarifas&nbsp;<em>spot&nbsp;<\/em>comiencen a reflejar un entorno operativo m\u00e1s estable, aunque a\u00fan elevado\u201d. No obstante, advierte que \u201cel impacto del conflicto en Medio Oriente est\u00e1 haciendo la vida cada vez m\u00e1s complicada para los propietarios de carga\u201d, quienes enfrentan simult\u00e1neamente disrupciones, tarifas altas y decisiones complejas en la negociaci\u00f3n de contratos de largo plazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En paralelo, el World Container Index de&nbsp;<em>Drewry<\/em>&nbsp;(WCI) registr\u00f3 su tercera ca\u00edda semanal consecutiva, descendiendo 1% hasta los US$2.216\/FEU. Esta tendencia responde a una combinaci\u00f3n de debilitamiento de la demanda y exceso de capacidad, factores que contin\u00faan ejerciendo presi\u00f3n a la baja sobre las tarifas, pese al contexto de costos elevados y riesgos geopol\u00edticos. En la ruta Asia\u2013Europa, las tarifas desde Shangh\u00e1i a G\u00e9nova y R\u00f3terdam se ubicaron en US$3.039\/FEU y US$2.127\/FEU, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los elementos m\u00e1s relevantes en la actual coyuntura es&nbsp;<strong>el fuerte incremento del precio del bunker<\/strong>. Seg\u00fan estimaciones del analista&nbsp;<em>Lars Jensen<\/em>, los precios del combustible marino aumentaron hasta un 75% en su punto m\u00e1ximo a inicios de abril y se mantienen en torno a un 60% por encima del ejercicio anterior en marzo-abril. De mantenerse esta tendencia, su costo anual en 2026 podr\u00eda incrementarse en un 50%, lo que implicar\u00eda un aumento aproximado de US$20.000 millones para la industria en su conjunto.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nivel de l\u00edneas navieras, el caso de Hapag-Lloyd resulta ilustrativo, ya que report\u00f3 un gasto cercano a US$2.900 millones en bunker y emisiones en 2025&nbsp;\u2014sin desagregar ambos conceptos\u2014, por lo que un alza de esta magnitud podr\u00eda traducirse en incrementos del orden de US$1.500 millones en sus costos anuales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este encarecimiento ha llevado a las compa\u00f1\u00edas a&nbsp;<strong>implementar recargos<\/strong>&nbsp;como el Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) y el Peak Season Surcharge (PSS). En este contexto,&nbsp;<em>Drewry<\/em>&nbsp;indica que MSC elev\u00f3 el EFS en la ruta Asia\u2013USEC desde US$430 a US$644\/FEU, mientras CMA CGM introdujo un PSS de US$2.000\/FEU. Estas medidas buscan trasladar parte del incremento de costos a los usuarios en un entorno a\u00fan vol\u00e1til.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el corto plazo, el mercado se mantiene altamente reactivo. \u201cLas l\u00edneas navieras est\u00e1n ajustando activamente precios mediante EFS, PSS y niveles FAK m\u00e1s firmes, manteniendo el mercado din\u00e1mico pese a movimientos estables de buques\u201d, se\u00f1ala&nbsp;<em>Drewry<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a la&nbsp;<strong>gesti\u00f3n de capacidad<\/strong>, las l\u00edneas navieras contin\u00faan utilizando cancelaciones de itinerarios (<em>blank sailings<\/em>) como herramienta de ajuste.&nbsp;<em>Drewry&nbsp;<\/em>proyecta alrededor de 43 cancelaciones entre las semanas 19 y 23 (mayo-junio), equivalentes a un 6% de los zarpes programados. Las disrupciones se concentran principalmente en las rutas Asia\u2013Europa\/Mediterr\u00e1neo (42%) y Transpac\u00edfico hacia el este (40%).
