Con nuevas disminuciones previstas para agosto, se est\u00e1n acercando a los niveles anteriores a la crisis del Mar Rojo, especialmente en direcci\u00f3n a la Costa Oeste de EE.\u202fUU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con&nbsp;<em>Xeneta<\/em>, la tarifa spot promedio del mercado en la ruta desde el Lejano Oriente hacia la Costa Oeste de EE.\u202fUU. (USWC) aument\u00f3 un 10% el 15 de julio, pero ha disminuido de forma constante durante la segunda mitad del mes, situ\u00e1ndose en US$2.264\/FEU. De cara a agosto, se prev\u00e9 que las tarifas&nbsp;<em>spot&nbsp;<\/em>caigan por debajo de los US$3.500\/FEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De este modo, las tarifas spot promedio en ambas rutas, se encuentran ahora en su nivel m\u00e1s bajo desde diciembre de 2023, siendo la USWC la que m\u00e1s se acerca a los niveles previos a la crisis del Mar Rojo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Emily Stausb\u00f8ll<\/em>, analista senior de transporte mar\u00edtimo en&nbsp;<em>Xeneta<\/em>, coment\u00f3 que \u201cEE. As\u00ed, de los 724 zarpes de itinerarios programadas en las rutas del Transpac\u00edfico, Transatl\u00e1ntico y Asia-Norte de Europa y Mediterr\u00e1neo, se prev\u00e9 la cancelaci\u00f3n de 53 de ellos entre las semanas 32 y 36 (del 4 de agosto al 7 de septiembre), lo que representa una s\u00f3lida tasa de cancelaci\u00f3n del 7%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La consultora detalla que la mayor\u00eda de los itinerarios cancelados durante las pr\u00f3ximas cinco semanas se proyectan en la ruta Transpac\u00edfico en direcci\u00f3n este (45%), seguida de la ruta Asia-Norte de Europa y Mediterr\u00e1neo (28%) y Transatl\u00e1ntico en direcci\u00f3n oeste (26%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo&nbsp;<em>Emily Stausb\u00f8ll<\/em>, las l\u00edneas navvieras probablemente anticipaban esta baja en la demanda y en las tarifas y en la demanda, pero subraya que eso no eso \u201cno facilitar\u00e1 su gesti\u00f3n, especialmente considerando el exceso significativo de capacidad en la flota global\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Crece la capacidad y la concentraci\u00f3n en la flota global<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En medio de los evidentes signos de exceso de oferta en el sector portacontenedor, el analista de la industria mar\u00edtima&nbsp;<em>Lars Jensen<\/em>, dio cuenta de que al parecer MSC planea ordenar m\u00e1s de 100 buques&nbsp;<em>feeder.<\/em>&nbsp;Si bien el n\u00famero de buques es grande, la cifra representar\u00eda una modesta adici\u00f3n de capacidad a su libro de \u00f3rdenes de hasta unos 400.000 TEUs. \u201cEsto debe verse en la perspectiva de que su enorme lista de pedidos que alcanza los de 2,2 millones de TEUs y su flota operada actualmente que alcanza los 6,7 millones de TEUs\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su puesto, las l\u00edneas navieras TOP 10, que controlan el 86% del mercado global, lideran las \u00f3rdenes de construcci\u00f3n de nuevos buques, por lo mismo, son quienes controlan el mayor flujo de nueva capacidad a los oc\u00e9anos. De acuerdo con S<em>ea-Intelligence<\/em>&nbsp;\u00e9stas han sostenido su crecimiento a expensas de las l\u00edneas navieras que est\u00e1n fuera de esta lista exclusiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En particular, MSC fue la que registr\u00f3 el mayor aumento individual en participaci\u00f3n de mercado, aument\u00e1ndola en casi 10 punto porcentuales (entre 2010 y 2015) aunque su crecimiento ha sido completamente org\u00e1nico, es decir, sin recurrir a fusiones o adquisiciones de otras l\u00edneas navieras. Respecto hasta qu\u00e9 momento seguir\u00e1 incrementado su flota, es una interrogante todav\u00eda por resolver. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Proyecciones<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como sea, el actual escenario, la trama se est\u00e1 complicando para las l\u00edneas navieras. Sin embargo, de acuerdo con&nbsp;<em>Stausb\u00f8ll<\/em>&nbsp;la situaci\u00f3n no es distinta para los importadores, ya que \u201cpodr\u00e1n beneficiarse de tarifas m\u00e1s bajas, pero esto no compensar\u00e1 el impacto financiero de los aranceles [de EE.
